I can think of so many things that can go 'wrong' with one of those.

And, why would I let others view myself 24/7 is a hard concept for me to understand. :)

I assume you are using a Phillips driver to manage your Logitech camera under Linux. ;)

Jesper, what can go wrong all depends on where the webcam is located...for example, some people have their computers in their bedrooms...I'll let your mind take over from there. ;)

Only reason i can think of using a Cam is I wanna sing some songs look really stupid and then put it on the net. Has anyone seen those chinese guys singing "Backstreet boys" songs, hilarious!

They're the 2nd most popular song DL on the net. There heaps of them singing BSB songs. Best one is "As long As you love me " song which can be found doing a google

I'm sorry, but Gary Brolsma's "Dragostea Din Tei" still takes the cake for me.

Actually I am using the spca50xx driver.

After a short research I duplicate some results.
By the way, to compilate this without errors is ....almost impossible :damn: :damn: :damn:

So, I going to keep my old driver. Check this out ---> http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/ it runs like a charm.

From the list of unsupported cams, it appears mine issupported, ill keep the link around maybe try it for FC5 in about 1 month.

The spca driver works just fine with my 046d:092c device.

If I had a webcam, and you wanted to log in and see what I looked like, let alone what I'm doing right now, I'd be concerned...

Yes. that one's crazy, and amount of people copying Gary only supports that. Although the asian guy were funny as well (and gotta say they copy it pretty good).
