Why is it that the only time I ever see clouds is when it's raining? I've never seen any normal white fluffy clouds in this game. It's not very realistic how it goes from completely clear, to rain.

There may be a cloud mod here that may change that. I know I installed one but cannot remember the name of it unfortunately. I have been installing a lot of mods lately. I once seen it rain with almost clear skies in game before.

Or, when there is wind, why is there fog?
Fog at sea stays only when there is no wind...

Well I tried that out and I still have not one cloud in the sky. Are there times where it's completely clear, and partially clouds? Maybe I just haven't seen partially cloudy. That seems strange though.

Unfortunately the game only simulate the heavy fog during storms, never in calm waters, and is linked with the storm clouds :nope:

It's just my opinion, but I think the devs may have confused "fog" with "visibility".

Yes, it sure feels like it :yep:
As a matter of fact, I've never seen rain with heavy fog in real life either, but in the game it is a pretty common ocurrence.
Again, I think your right... fog is the developers way of telling you "you are experiencing reduced visibility" no matter what the actual cause.
