Ok folks I will start with a disclaimer here:
No I am not bragging nor trying to be coy.
I confess I am an amateur compared to a lot of you.
I am playing this game/simulation to have fun on my terms not be judged for what I am or have not acheived...

If I were feeling really ambitious, I would have used Google Earth and shown you a real picture of the actual spot you were at.

Map Quest was bad enough but now CV-707 using satellites on me... :ping:
Most Fun in this game I have had in a long time...typically long drawn out missions in the Atlantic...
Now I am cruisin' the Med....

35 degrees 26 minutes East Latitude by 33 degrees 51 minutes North...
Should be a City nearby ;-)

CV-707 the last picture is what I meant by close-up or called zoom-in.
Sometimes I forget to use good English - my apologies.
Yes the picture you have sent is the location of U-97. I started the mission in Dec 1940 from St. Nazaire - refuel and rearm in Tobruk.

Google Earth is the best. And it is free. You don't need pro.
