Ok folks I will start with a disclaimer here:

No I am not bragging nor trying to be coy.

I confess I am an amateur compared to a lot of you.

I am playing this game/simulation to have fun on my terms not be judged for what I am or have not acheived...

-----

This link is to a page I started to catalog my journey for thus far it has been my best.

But mostly I started this page to make people think.

:hmm:

So take a look and see if you can figure out where on the planet U-97 is?

If I were feeling really ambitious, I would have used Google Earth and shown you a real picture of the actual spot you were at.

The best thing to do is download the google earth application and install it. Its insane! Way better than the google website.

CV-707 the last picture is what I meant by close-up or called zoom-in.

Sometimes I forget to use good English - my apologies.

Yes the picture you have sent is the location of U-97. I started the mission in Dec 1940 from St. Nazaire - refuel and rearm in Tobruk.
