No, all of you are wrong.
It has nothing to do with replying, quoting or Islam but it was a request to me as moderator to delete the posting.

With requests of Gizzmoe I'm always to comply.

This thread is locked because Drebbel locked it. He thought in his wisdom that it would be better for us to concentrate on real issues when posting instead of spending our mental energy on something completely senseless.

And I must admit, he has a point. Re-reading the whole thread I find nothing special or interesting in it.

I wasn't aware that the General Topics forum was a structured think-tank. Besides, one could argue that the multitude of political, religious and Starforce-related threads fall into the realm of the sensless as well.

Try not to forget: This is just an internet forum. We're not going to end war, stop terrorism, bring corporate America to its knees, feed the hungry, clothe the naked or house the homeless here. If you want to make a difference in this regard, my suggestion is to turn off your computer, go out into the world and get into the game, so to speak.

I like this thread. It's silly, no one is getting mad and there is no vague dancing around the SubSim personal attacks regulations. We have enough threads here for that.

Perhaps sometimes the moderators want tro play with a thread themselves and this test thread just may be the victim... Who knows?

I'm sure it goes deeper than that. It is a vast consiracy, like a pyramid scheme. The real questions are what super computer does all of this discussion and information download into and which moderator is real, and which is simply a mainframe sitting in the basement of some apartment complex?

The truth is out there, people.

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.

A thread that is locked and trying to delete itself into outer space.

OK, to be constructive, a straightforward solution to our problems has been discovered.

http://www.physorg.com/news10789.html

So, basically, all we have to do is to take a large mass, accelerate it to more than 57.7 percent of light speed, put the thread in front of it, and the antigravity beam would do the rest. :smug:

Are you suggesting, Oberon, that simple tools like this could stand up to the iron grip of the moderators on this forum?
