Type XI torpedos

The Type XI torpedo is available near the end of the war to counter-act the allies' foxer noise-making countermeasures. Has anyone ever seen a DD drop some of these after you fire a acoustic-homing torpedo? It's like 1000 renown for a XI compared to 800 for a V or 400 for a IV... seems like a waste.

This would be considered a cheat but....

You can go in and find the XI and change the renoun to a lesser number you think would be fair. Then it's not so much of a waste for you. ;)
