U-93 emblem?

I have a career going on with U-93. I've checked with all the emblem mods and they don't have a U-93 emblem. I guess this is one of the unknown emblems. :cry: Does anybody have a book with it's emblem in it? Thought I'd check here. I will go check Uboat.net after this.

Just checked Uboat.net and there was an emblem for U-93 but there seems to be no picture of it. :down: Bummer...

Not sure if this applies to U-93 but, some u-boats only used the flottilla emblem and never had their own personal emblem.

Yes, if it was a late-war boat (which I doubt considering it's numbered 93) it most likely would of just had a flotilla emblem (to make it harder for enemies to track movements of each boat).

1 has a smiling red devil using a net to catch a steamer with a cigar smoking Churchill aboard

Ok,

After hearing from lafeeverted that the devil was red, I used photoshop and made the devil red. Took about a half hour but not too bad. Here's a pic of U-93 getting ready to depart. :)

There are already hi-res U-boat and flotilla emblem packs available. Just search The Community Manual (http://www.communitymanuals.com/shiii/) for "emblems".

If he wanted the flotilla emblem, then he could have used it. It was pretty clear through the progression of the topic that this is not what was wanted. I am not trying to be offensive however, sometimes the often used answer "read the FAQ" or "use the search function" or a friendly " look at the Community manual " is helpful. Sometimes it is a little condescending as it seemed to me to be the case here ( ie: ending your post with :roll: )

I had the U-93 a few careers ago and I could not find at the time any information on the web that the U-93 had a unique emblem. Would have been nice to know at the time.

I got it through Amazon as well. Amazing what you can find, especially trying to track down some of the older out of print books using Amazon and Barnes and Noble. My wish list keeps growing and as does the urge to click and buy!
