Promotion

Does anyone know where I can find a chart of how much renown I need to get a promotion for myself? I can't find one anywhere.

I only play with 60% realism and have 450K tons in 1942 and about 8500 renown. I am still a Lt. Sr. I would like to promote some of my officers to Lt. Sr., but I can't have them the same rank as me. I just wouldn't feel right about bossing them around...

That manual didn't tell me what I needed to know. I wanted to know when I got promoted. I know how to promote my crew, but I wanted to know when I could expect to get my promotion.

I've since found out. Apparently your first promotion comes at 5,000 renown and the next one at 10,000. From there on, you get promotions for every 10,000 renown (at least from what I read). This made sense to me because I achieved 5,000 renown long ago and currently have 8,000 or so (because I keep spending it).

For what it's worth, I updated the manual with this information.
