View Full Version : Well folks I finally got my Captains license

The last few years on the north atlantic commercail fishing has been tough to say the least size limits qoutas etc etc I've practicaly given up on it -so i went back to school and studyed for my merchant marine captains license-(6 pak) :know: got 100%-100%-90%-90% not bad for an ol man---anyhow I wanted to share this with you guys n gals because I know theres many a cpt here -what i will actully do with it is start a charter fishin bizz since already got the gear n boat I started buildin a web page threw comcast and wanted to see what you guys thought and to invite you to go fishing(tuna) anyone who does come from subsim can stay the night for free tuna start running mid june --LEAN N HUNGRY-- and last threw till october - best bet is 3rd week in june till 3 week in july
anyhow I should be recieving my cpt license in the mail in the next 2/3 weeks and will be ready for action providing the G man find somthing wrong with the 30 tons of paperwork :shifty:

--4 tests all which were ok --it was the blasted studyin the threw me into a coma for a week after testing :ping:

Closest I've gotten to commanding a ship was when I was a kid floating in an inner tube in the lake.

Even when I was in the navy, I was never on a ship!!!! :lol:

Congratulations Captain Codmander..... old man or not, you did good. :up:

I sure miss the Cape. Used to deliver new Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs out there in Hyannis and S. Yarmouth. Always a great place to travel to... but only when the traffic wasn't heavy. 495/25 and 3 were always a pain on a friday. LOL
