Hi all, new here and to the game although no stranger to sims in general.

I bought SHIII yesterday in a uk store for £14.99, I was warned that I would not be able to exchange it, new policy for PC games in said store.
However, my box contains a German language keycard. The manual is in English but it's the keycard I really want.

My question is this; is there a pdf version of the keycard anywhere? Or, does anyone know if it's possible to contact Ubisoft to get a replacement? In fact any printable list of keys would be good.

Other than that minor detail, amazing game. I've spent the entire day tweaking and installing mods, and working through an excellent Manual Plotting and Targetting guide, linked from this site. I intend to play on pretty much max realism, as I find this gives me the most satisfaction on almost all the sims I've played before.

Thanks :sunny:

Game get round this by warning you when you buy, apparantly. Although in all of my many long years of gaming I've not had this problem before, and likewise never been told I can't exchange either!

No they don't.
They do get round you bringing back the game for no reason, but you have a legal right to a replacement or a refund if they sold you something that is defective.
