Whats in the cans any one guess ? il give you the answer later A torpedo. They look like SUBROCs. They could be cruise missile cansters but I don't think so.
BTW was that a Yankee Sidecar? And what was that Romeo modified to do?
Kapitan
01-26-06, 02:41 PM
it was a yankee akson and inside those can are Klub missiles in fact kulb missiles are very very closely gaurded seacrets and this is the first ever time ive seen any type of picture of this.
i was asked the same question my javier my answer was torpedos, he corrected me by stating they are Klubs and these are the missiles sold to india china and iran.

Cool. I am still waiting for this game to appear in my local CompUSA, but have yet to see it. It 'is' supposed to be released to retail, but what retail? I'd buy it online, but I'd prefer to pay cash for it so that I slip it in under the radar of my wife! :)

I only reaised how bloody big the Typhoon is when playing Sub Command with SCXIIc mod. I placed my Akula II alongside one of those massive suckers and switched to 3D view to take a look. Awesome. :|\
By the way nice pics Kap.

What the heck have they done to the ''heavily modified Romeo submarine in Sevastopol'' ?
Couldnt look worse if it had had a shunt ! Whats with the raised stern section ?
JSLTIGER
01-27-06, 10:07 AM

ITs a great game, and the hunt is more intense than playing SH3.
Get past the learning curve be prepared to print out a 500page manual and long hrs. But once you start getting those sonar contacts you'll be on the edge of your seat.
Only grip i have about it, is it goes too slow on the internet? only a modem user but SH3 runs well over the net. Great game.
BTW great pics there Kapitain.
