SS3 Crashes on Start up

For some reason my SS3 wont even get past the loading screen. It was running just fine this morning and then this afternoon after I upgraded Sub Commander and installed SS3 generator everything quit. I uninstalled SS3 Commander and SS3 gernerator no help, then unistalled the game and freash install...still crashes during start up. What could be casusing this? I love this game and now it is dead! :hulk: :damn: :arrgh!:

I installed a brand new SS3 with the 1.4b DVD patch. That is all I have installed and yet I get crashes during the begining of the launch of the game. This comes after the intro movie. When I uninstalled everything I also deleted the SS3 folder along with ubisoft from program files.

If I do get things running again I will have to reinstall all those Mods...I bet I had 40 or more in the Mods folder. Hopefully I will get that far? HELP?

Fix for CTD at Main Loading Screen.

The game ran flawlessly for about 60hrsover 5 days before I encountered this bug. I had 6 Careers.

The Game Loaded, Ubi Logo Screen appeared, Intro Video played, and game CTD halfway through Main Loading Screen.

Workaround:

Cut and Paste all your carreers from Careers folder to Desktop. Cut and Paste all your careers from your desktop back to Careers folder.

Game now loads normally.
