I found this pic on the HMAS Perth National Association site

The caption on the site says "PERTH's revenge on Hobart. This picture is of PERTH when she rammed the wharf when coming to berth in Hobart. It happened just alongside of Constitution Dock, and I also have a photograph of the patched-up wharf taken in 1998. The Port Control staff in the office must have gotten quite a shock to see a Destroyer "destroying" their office."

Yes. :yep: She was made into an artificial reef in 2000 or 2001 I think near Perth. Western Australia.

Edited. Actually it was Albany, Western Australia.

Or perhaps it's a new construction method for turning an old wharf into a series of super dooper 1 million dollar harbour side apartments like what has been the trend in Sydney over the last decade. :D
