Hi guys,
I just got started on this subsim SHIII and have to say: it is great (spending way to many hours infront fo the computer)!! But as with any product, no matter how good, there are some (minor) things:
Why doesn't my WO go to the bridge whenever I surface?
Why can't you send a contact report for a "neutral" convoy? (There weren't any as far as I know!!!)
How do I reset the "standard action to be taken when ....." option?
There are also some things which annoy me even though they aren't important for the fun of the game:
The radio signals from BDU are less than intelligent:
He always says: Good job well, done, even if my sub is a floating wreck and I can't do anything but go home.
No orders to form a wolfpack (which was THE tactic at that time)
The patrol orders are sometimes more than doubtful and some variation would be nice!!!
Last point: Having single destroyers run about is not very realistic imho!!!
but it still is a great game......
