Okay with all these crazy awesome mods (Habour Traffic, RUB 1.45, Sink them All, Chromus Mods(in HT, Ocean Madness, and IUB). I decided to reinstall my SH3 that was only running HT with RUb1.45 and NavMod with SH3. I reinstalled like it said, but kept my mods folder so i wouldnt lose everything. Well after a clean installation, a reboot of JSMGE and a reboot of the comp, i created a new Mods folder in my SH3 dir and then just copied and pasted all the mods i had in my old folder.

SO this is what i put into the folder and activated .. Rub 1.45, Habour Traffic compatible with Rub. Chromus "full" mod, IUB, Marhks Ocean Madness (RUb compatible) and Marhks smoke, SInk them all V2.2,NavMaptools v1.3 and thats it.., I go to run SH3 and i notice the IUB menu comes up. Cool. I go to run it all and i notice that my menu bar that is the "aces tool bar" is totally screwed up. I cant get to my deck and conning tower because my menu tool bar has run all together. SO i decide that im running to many mods and i deactivate IUB, Marhks mods, and Sink them all. I go back to run it and now i get errors "Menu something bla bla" but i can still run the game, and my tool bars are still all mixed together. I tried to UNinstal everything but it wont allow me. The errors come out like this "Habour Traffic cannot be removed because "full" (which is something out nof Chromus MOds) overwrites some files." And the same goes when i try and uninstall Full and HT and Rub1.45. So i cannot remove them via JSGME and i dont feel like digging thru all my files to delete them. ANy1 have any suggestions??

I can't differentiate which mods are which... Could you possible make a list so that it can be better seen?

Kinda like this:

Mod A
Mod B
Mod C
...
Mod Z

Thanks!

Okay i got... Mod1: Rub 1.45
Mod2: Habour Traffic (Rub Compatible)
Mod3: with HT came CHromus Mods (aces deep menu) which is what is screwing up in my campaign
Mod3: Markhs Ocean Madness
Mod3: Markhs smoke mod
Mod4: Sink them All V2.2
Mod5: NavMapToolsv1.3
Mod6: IUB (Improved Uboat)

The problem is, is that i cannot remove Habour Traffic, Chromos Mod (The one i have is called (Full), and RUb 1.45. I want to remove all these because my sidebar menu is al smashed together and messed up. I get these menu errors that send me to desktop.

When I try to run Harbor traffic 1.47 and IUB 1.02, I get the same
"menu ID ******** " error. If I can get this closed, the game will then load and run fine. I tried replacing the menu_1024_768 config file with various copies of it, but it didn't help. I guess you can't run Harbor Traffic 1.47 with IUB 1.02.
To deactivate the mods use jsgme and hit deactivate all mods: that is the << button.

Rub 1.45
Habour Traffic (Rub Compatible)
HT - Chromos Mods (aces deep menu)
Markhs Ocean Madness
Markhs smoke mod
Sink them All V2.2
NavMapToolsv1.3
IUB (Improved Uboat)

Your problem stems from these four (highlighted in red) files. They are all mixing their "menu_1024_768.ini" files. You really need to be an Ace modder in order to get them all working together, since by default they are not supposed to be compatible.

At this point, my only suggestion is to start over with a clean reinstall of SH3, patched up to 1.4b, and don't use the NavMapToolsv1.3.

In addition to that, you should only use RUb or IUB... but not both. Then install Chromo's mod on top of that.

The rest of the mods are fine, as they won't cause any problems.

sweet thanks a lot. But NavMapTools i dont think interferes with much of the tool bar. Only some extra info in the navmap and a compass. But im pretty sure ur right about the rest.

Can you explain to me the NavMapToolsv1.3?

or maybe link me to a download. I can check the files myself.

But without checking, I assume that it might be overriding files that you really need.

Marhkimov's advise is good. I was thinking left over registry keys from uninstall perhaps

I did a clean install, with a registry cleaning and then installed:
patch 1.4b
IUB 1.02
HT 1.47

I then get the Menu ID ********* not found message.

So I did a new fresh install with a registry cleaning, downloaded new copies of both mods and the patch and tried again, with the same result.

I checked the WIKI and search. Gizzmoe has a statement in a note that this should work, but it doesn't.

? Anybody have a suggestion?

I have a penium IV at 2.8 Ghz
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
omega drivers for my video card
1 GB memory
