I'm playing with 91% Realism (only external view still on).
I made several attacks on a C2 cargo ship (saved game, over & over)
Every time I used a 'gas torpedo' on fast speed, hitting in the middle of the ship with the same result - the ships was hit, but did not sunk...
The last time, I decided to use the electric torpedo.
On detonation there was a huge blast, pieces flow on the air out of the middle of the ship, and the ship finally sunk.
It came onto my mind that maybe, the slower torpedoes types ware built with less room for fuel and more space for the explosives. Making them 'stronger'
I've tried to find some info about my assumption but with no success.
Is that true?
Do the slower torpedoes contain more explosives?
TIA,
Temujin
