as far as BB's go, the Bismarck or North Carolina class are the best looking for sure. I always thought the Yamato's looked bloated and clumsy, not graceful, especially with that weird curve they have amidships.

Here's my imaginary submarine with a aft placed sail. I like to think of it as a Seawolf II. Another ship i think looks really good is the RN's Type 23 Duke Frigates. A good mix of elegance and clutter.

Ryujo is cool, not only in looks but practical. No island and therefore a bit more room for the planes. Taiho is my fave IJN carrier however, for the same reason I like the Illustrious class CVs, enclosed bows.
