What happened to my watch crew?

I've just finished patrol and I've noticed strange thing.
I was hardly attacked by escort long time with many hits. After some hours being submerged I've decided to emerge. When my uboat emerged I heard and read that my watch crew are down. I don't know reason of it, because there were no enemy ships or planes near my uboat. All my watch crew (1 officer, 1 petty oficer and 3 sailors) at crew manager screen were in red color (I've made them funeral by right mouse button). After returning to port in debrefing I've read that no one from my crew has dead during patrol :hmm: .
What happened?

Conning tower damaged? If so, that's the reason I believe. Resurrexit crew? Well, have heard one man did it, 2000 years ago in Jerusalem... :hmm:

It´s a X-file phenomena. :-j

perhaps a game bug like a crew in the tower sumerged, i had it in a reloaded patrol, they stay out while a destroyer was dropping depth charges :nope:

Rosencrantz - you may have right, my conning tower was destroyed (red color at crew manager screen), but it happened submerged, watch crew didn't stay there during attacks.
