interestning.. any more links? though if speed of supercavitation is a directly propotional a fluids viscosity it would require great speeds. or is it a fuinction of denisty, in either ways this sounds difficult to do.

Very interesting, Pigfish.

It seems incredible for a bomb to penetrate up to 70 m. of concrete or 300 meters of land, given the 7 m./30 m. maximum of the current blockbuster generation. But even a two fold increase would be sensational: penetration of 14 meters of concrete or 60 meters of earth. Go figure!

Quite an impressive performance, piercing through 264 ft. of reïnforced concrete! Must have been the ultimate limit of conventional artillery performance.
