@ Happy Times:
No testing necessairy.
The Subsim forum rules clearly limit freedom of speech.
What are Subsim.com's editorial policies?
The Radio Room forum is not the place for flaming, spewing, or otherwise mouthing off. We do not allow posts where people are called idiots, morons, etc. We respect your freedom of speech, we ask that you respect our rules. You are welcome to express your opinion about games and other subjects. We do not want SUBSIM Review and the Radio Room forums to degenerate into a collection of *This game sux!!!!* and other immature rants. Like something or dislike something about a game, express your thoughts in reasoned and responsible terms. There are any number of forums which allow unbridled idiocy to reign, we want the Radio Room to be a civil, mature forum for discussions about naval and subsims, tactics, mods, playing tips, troubleshooting, and submarine topics in general. As such, we retain the right to edit and/or delete posts we find offensive. We also have the right to ban users who contribute to poisoning the well. Just as a radio talk host has the right to decide who he airs and a newspaper editor decides whose letters he prints and whose he throws away, the moderators in the Radio Room forums have final say on rants and spews they decide should be cut.link: http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/faq.php#0
I just want to make sure everybody understands that, though there is much room to air one's opinion or criticism, he or she can be held (indirectly) responsable for the content of any links in his or her postings.

I read that and I must say Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!
This is a quote from the middle of the page:
Christian Attire
Click Here For an Invaluable True Christian™ Resource on Proper Womenly Attire
We believe that when a person first gets saved, the first thing they should do is buy a suit and a tie. If the individual is a female, then a dress not raised over an inch above the knee is acceptable. Clothing is perhaps the most important thing about being a Christian. If one is not properly clothed and fully representative of what God would want them to appear like... well then, that person is probably not saved. Our motto is "get saved, get to a Christian Clothing store, and get fitted for the kingdom." Anyone who does not conform to the dress code at Landover Baptist will be fined no less than $300.00 a violation. It is a privilege to be a Christian and we believe that it is about time folks started acting like it!
Yet on the bottom of the page is this:

Ok, I just read Gizzmoe's reply about it being a parody. To be honest, I've met a lot of serious Christians but I never met anyone as represented on the website landover Baptist. Thank God!

Who's crazy enough to demand full free speach on the forum? ... :rotfl: Seriosly, this is hillarious. Just because it's free speech, doesn't mean it's ok to yell 'Bomb' on an airplane. Freedom of speech comes with limitations that you accept for the sake of all. Same is in the forum, but to even bigger degree.

Yes. Freedom of speech requires everyone to bear an even bigger burden of responsibility. You can talk, and talk, and talk, until someone punches you in the face and knocks out all of your teeth.
But go ahead and talk all you want. You have the freedom!

I know you guys are just teasing me.
Nevertheless, don't worry.
It will never get that bad on this forum, because before anybody starts punching I'll be the oppressor of 'free speech' and kick him out.
You may appeal to Neal but may God have mercy with your soul...
And don't forget, I read all postings!

I just liked the idea of Jyllands-Posten about testing if their freedom of speech is threatened these days in Denmark. And reading the article i would say the response they got, is out of proportion and from a different world that we live in. It reveals the huge gap between the "western" way of life and the majority of worlds muslims. When cristmas was spoiled for many again in Finland by muslims criticising our traditions and demanding them changed im begining to believe we just cant live together, there i said it :P http://denmark.dk/portal/page?_pageid=374,880218&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL

Believe it or not, everyone here has the freedom and the right to say WHATEVER THEY WANT.
Just don't complain when Neal/Abraham ban you from the site or throw you into the brig. ;)
