17 C in Athens (Greece). And that was about 21:30 last night. People in the central cofee shops / bars were sitting outside!
That was a nice change after two weeks of 3-5 C (freezing for Greece).

Looks like Melbourne's gonna take the capital city honours here in Australia tomorrow - we're expecting 42° Celsius (107.6F).
Great, and here's me with no airconditioning. :( Looks like a trip to the shopping centre is in order.
Hey Bill, no fires up Gungahlin way? I just bought a house there. Don't wanna lose it before I move in! :)

With the hot temps some of you are having, I don't mind our chilly 30 degress (F). We had alot of snow early on in December, but for the past week and a half, the temps have been above freezing with rain. Things are quite soggy, but at least most of the snow is gone. :)
Heyy, Syxx_Killer! Where in Michigan do you live? I lived there a year once, in Ann Arbor.

Cool!
Ann Arbor is about a good 4 hours away from here. I'm in the Thumb of Michigan on the eastern side. It is a small cowtown - Harbor Beach.
I really liked being there! Everybody was so nice and friendly. Here in Finland we are all grumpy and look like we are angry all the time! Really sad. . .

:hmm: I don't know who put what in your drinking water, but, can you honestly find any good if we just suddenly start idle talks, vain smiles that doesen't have a purpose...just meaningles and aimless gestures. Waste of time.... and when/if I have something to say to someone, I just say it. Discreetly, but say. That way when you show nice gestures and words, they are much more effective and have a real meaning than if you were using them all the time... Perkele.
:stare: <----- see, I'm not angry even if I look like this, I just noticed that my car is buried in snow ;) Horay for 4x4...

Yep, and 35+ here in Sydney. I lived in Weipa for a few years, at least the heat was dry, down here it is so humid.
The far north does not have a monopoly on hot weather, you just get better winters.

I don't understand how you guys manage to live and work in that hot weather. Here in Sweden it is snowing and I love it. Except for the short suntime you actually work and feel better if it is not so hot. Sleep better too.
Here in Orange NSW Australia, its 31 *C at 23:30 at night after a top of 39 *C
I think we just managed to get above 6*C a few minutes ago, sun's out...the wind's dropped from yesterdays gales and sleet/snow flurries.
I'm sitting here in a short sleeved shirt, the living room fires not lit but the aga is doing a passable impression of the Queen Mary's boiler room, so indoor temps aren't too bad...probably around 10-12*C, comfortable

Yer but at least I can take my Fireblade out for a fang all year round

It would suck not being able to ride for a good part of the year. I also would end up in the loony bin if I had to deal with Sydny traffic in a car :damn:
