I was transfered, Why?

I had been sailing with the 7th Flotilla and transfered to the 29th at Toulon.
I liked the sailing in the Med, lots of close contacts, mostly merchant and many planes to shoot down. We got eight in one mission.
Yesterday after finishing a sucessful cruise, 30K+ tonnage I got transfered back to the 7th Flotilla, but in Brest not St. Loraine.
I didn't ask to be transfered, what happened?

sounds like a bug, i had this once before, but i dont know how to fix that...

by the way... st. what? loraine? wow, where is that? you mean st. nazaire i guess... or lorient, but thats no st. ;)

Yea, sorry St. Nazaire.
This must be a bug, after I wrote this I went back into the game and although it said Brest, I still left port at Toulon with no assigned area, just NULL and the sailing port in my papers says Brest. What the devil is that.
I can't chose any changes to the "Uboot". so I get what torps are there.
Sailing date is Oct. 1944.
Maybe I will go back to an earlier save.

You are getting transfered around because the allies are invading the areas that was controled by German forces . Slowly but surely we lose the war :-? Soon you'll see the blue ports turn red meaning they have been taken over and not safe to enter anymore

I was transfered from St. nazaire all the way up in Brent in the middle of nowhere ... takes a full day to get to open water ...

Only thing thats really starting to get irritating is the air raids when leaving port and geting attacked all the way ... too shallow to dive :cry:

Its a bug, and it drives me absolutely nuts. Its somehow related to trying intentionaly transfer from the 7th to the 29th.

I went back into my saved careers and picked one from before the troublsome transfer.
It's OK now. I am back with the 7th Flotilla, sailing from Bergen.
