How in the blue bloody blazes does one transfer to the 29th?

I dont get it, transfering to the 29th from the 7th floatilla just doesnt happen.

Foolish me, i start to work on a career in the 7th, figured id transfer to the 29th and then from there to the 33rd. But nooooooooooo, instant i transfer to the 29th, SH3 spits back enough error messages to force me to hit the reset button. So then i try editing it in manually and NOTHING sticks.

Oh sure i can get up to the ponit where i can start a patrol in the 29th but the instant i do.. loatilla disbanded your in the 1st now!


Why have a transfer function when it wont work? For once i try to have some type of career to that has some continuity to it from begining to end and well, it just isnt happening. BAH.

Is the 10 Flotilla available to transfer to? I don't remember exactly what other Flotilla was available as this was a long time ago, but out of frustration I transferred to the other Flotilla and instead of going to that one I went to the 29th. :88) You may try that.

If you started your campaign before 1942, try waiting until January/1942 arrives, before attempting to transfer to the 29th. It usually works fine then.

I enjoy going there too but it just doesn't seem to be a reliable/working base until Jan/1942.

The 29th Flotilla does not exist until December 1st 1941 (I think). You can't transfer to the 29th before that date, so don't try.

You're right, re: La Spezia opening December 1st/1941.

Yet in the campaign it becomes available for transfer before that, but I've had weird problems transferring there in both September and November/1941.

Dunno why it's available early, but it sure doesn't work right. I think we talked about this in a post a few months ago.
