We do it all the time in NZ :D On some forums we are putting each others religeon down but we do it all with a smile :D We got muslims making fun of Christains, Christains making fun of Jews, Jews making fun of muslims. Then the next day we all back on the threads supporting each other. Hilarious.

I really hate any laws like this. I can not stand how every year the government keeps finding ways to take away freedoms. Damn sad if you ask me.

I don't know about the rest of the world but all these PC laws and regs. etc weren't brought about by our ethnic communities, not as far as I can see but by looney liberals who think that if you are white then you are the oppressor.

Seriously I knew this girl in Russia, Canadian happened to be, and she was one of these vegitarian, goodie goodie, got to help anyone who is a minority and the west is all evil and bad cause it is the west and that all poor people and the like are good because of that...yada yada yada. Now I don't have a thing against vegitarians...she just happened to be...but she used to ram it all down our neck. If I said something not PC or something she used to say "you can't say that" and I was like, uh just did. Same when talking about wearing warm clothes. In Russia, winter, -20 someplaces a lot colder. Fur, and I mean real fur will keep you the warmest for the least amount of clothes on. She did not like the fact lots of Russians had fur coats. She wouldn't wear a leather jacket, but her shoes were--go figure she used to wear I kid you not, a t-shirt, a sweater, some fleec smock thing and a thick fleece jacket. Watching her come into work was like seeing a strip show, but not.

Poke fun at other people is natural, I personally think it blows off steam. Ok certain things you don't joke about, ie Holocaust, firebombing of dresden, Hillsborough, you know really nasty things...

For example, lets say I have jsut had one of those annoying phone calls from a call centre in India and I can't undesrstand the person, and then I later tell colleagues about it and imitate the Indian persons accent, does that make me racist, prejudiced?
