Skinning

G'day,

I've enjoyed skinning the aircraft in IL2 FB/AEP/PF, but I'm only a jube at it. Now that I've finally found the sub files for the skins in this legend of a game, my questions is..... has anybody been able to find whats what on the sub skins ie: the ladder, telescope, ancor etc. The IL2 forum had modders high lighting the parts and naming them & seperating them to help lame asses like me. Has a modder done this already?

I"ve painted my compasses, hull, hatches, wood, BBC box, lights, but there is so much more I could do.

I hope I've planted the seed.

No, no one has released any u-boat templates.

Compared to IL2FB, Pacific Aces, and CFS3, I find that the SH3 community is generally not very interested in skinning (of course there are a few exceptions; Fubar has some excellent U-boat skins, but no templates). As for myself, I have quite a few custom skins and templates of merchant ships, but the lazy ass that I am, I haven't released anything...

I have just about redone ALL of iambecomelife's Mid/Late War merchant paint schemes.
