Finally I have it... RUb 1.45. The very first mod I have experienced and sure, I like it. It's Great. I can't understand how could I play the game BEFORE I got RUb. Thanks Beery + Team, you have done a great job! Sorry to hear Beery is leaving... :(

Because of that I did'nt read readme file careful enough, I got one surprise just in the middle of Skagerrak, between Norway and Denmark. Just after couple of days we left the base, my L.I. starts yelling "Engines are not properly manned..." or something. Quickly I learned something new about combat stress in RUb... It's not healed in crew compartments. So, now I'm trying to sneak back to the base... Just thinking what to tell to Old Man (Dönitz). That my crew get so combat stressed in couple days (peaceful ones) that they couldn't deal with the engines anymore? Maybe I will not be the first person to tell THAT! :rotfl:

Maybe it's just better to talk something about "those bloody diesels..." :rotfl:

It works different of the other fatigue systems.
is a non recoverable "fatigue" ,..is a combat stress.

I´m trying the rub fatigue system,
The problem is when the aceleration time is used below 32x. they become fatiged and is impossible recover the crew, i always left a quarter filled of fresh peoble as a backup for the engines room ,and i replace the crew when they are fully stressed and are unable to use the engines. :nope: :dead:
but is a problem with combat actions in low aceleration time.

the torpedo room stress a lot the crew,.. remove it of the compartment unless do you want to reload torpedoes or they could be stressed. :yep:

I am glad you posted this! I also installed the mod but I guess missed that part! I have read all in these forums that your crew rests up but mine never do. Didn't know what the heck was going on. That explains it! Oh well... I think I like that element.

Your first few missions may be difficult if you're not careful. After you give out a few quals and medals you should never have your crew completely unable to do their job.
Just keep in mind the the torpedo rooms and damage control team will be drained very quickly, run it at 64x where possible or find the 1x fatigue file if you want to play the game in real-time only :know:

Or you can do what I did :D I installed the newest SH3 commander
I am running RUB 1.45 there are setting's in the commander to set to
no fatigue :D All kinds of neat things you can set adjust your water.
Check it out and read the readme that comes with the new commander
I think you can still get it at Berrys web page. or
U-Boot.Realsimulation.com The new Cmd is Ver 2.3.0.52

Well, I just replaced Basic file with Basic1x. Seems to work now pretty OK, better than ever I would say.

And, I use TC...
