Hey guys, I am pretty new to the game first of all. I run the latest version of RUB, SH3 Commander, and nothing else.

I started the game in 1939 and I dock at Kiel. I dont know if any of that makes a difference, but whenever I go into enemy ports, there are never any ships docked. Am I just getting unlucky, or am I wasting my time?

I saw a mod called Harbor traffic, it looked like it only added traffic in friendly harbors, but maybe I am wrong... Could someone enlighten me on that as well? Or are there any other mods that helped in that direction that are compatable with SH3 Commander and RUB?

Thanks fellas.

S!

I'm also running RuB and Commander, I've seen docked ships twice in a row at Hartlepool, but never again since then :(

Can anyone tell us anything about this?

It's a shame when I think of all the harbors I have snuck into... yet zero contacts. :damn:

You have to install mods. The unmodded game does not contain many docked ships.
For example Imrpoved U-Boat or U-Boat War Ace Campaign which have docked freighters etc.
At the moment i am reworking this campaign, especially all habours.
I have finished german, french, spanish, italian and north african harbours.

Looking forward to your work!

Also, just to answer my own question, I installed Harbor Traffic mod and the first port I went to had 3 ships docked. The second port had roughly the same. So thats great!

to me the harbour traffic mod has to few ships in ports.
so i tried u-boat war ace campaign which has much more traffic.
unfortunately the positions of the ships were not quite exact.
they seemed kind of spread in harbours.
in the next weeks i rework the english ports and maybe someday the american harbours. now most other ports are almost finished.
