Hi all!
First of all a warm hello. Im new to this game (well, can you say new after playing it nonstop for a week?) and Im completely addicted to it.
I've installed some wonderfull mods and the newest drivers for my video card.

But.....

Ive played for hours and hours with this configuration without any problems, and suddenly (I've installed Train Simulator (Ubisoft eXclusive version) just before) I get these grapics....

:ahoy: and welcome aboard.

regret to read of graphics issues. most are result of drivers but in general I am not a fan of the Nv6600 me I am a convert to ATi but that is personal.

To your situation:

Latest drivers? do you have a version number?

Here is a location that they add, mod drivers for ATi and Nv about once a day so latest is a bit vague maybe another Nv person here on Forum can suggest best driver for SH3 - again the drivers get modded all the time both WHQL and betas

- Try this http://www.guru3d.com/ lots and lots of drivers for many cards.

But I have to agree somewhat with last post - if you have another program you installed and "suddenly" there are troubles most of the time it is the cause.

Hours and Hours of play? great! but with addition of the new software maybe taxing resources it could be from the pictures I saw artifacts from overheating.

Do problems show up right away or after hours of play?

Do you have operating temps under load and idle?

Hi thank you for your replies!

The problems showed op right away after starting the game, and I didnt mean hours and hours playing the game without a brake haha! Coffee, toilet and sleeping (and working from time to time of course) also take some time.
But by the way, what program can I use to view my temps in load and idle? I would like to know anyway.

Ive uninstalled Train sim (who needs it, sinking barges, destroyers and tankers is much more fun!) and installed new drivers from the Nvidia site (Ive found out they where even more uptodate than the site you reccomended, but thanks anyway!) and the problem is over! :D

Thank you for your help and happy huntings!

What Train Sim do you have..I have 2 of them and neither has ever interfered with SH3.I have Aurans Trainz and Microsoft Train Sim.

Not sure what you can use to monitor your temps. My ASUS motherboard has sensors built into it that I can check temps in the BIOS in different areas of the motherboard or I can use ASUS's AI Monitor which I can use in Windows to check my temps out.

To monitor temps a good third party software is from Unwinder called:

RIVA Tuner get it here:

Also good for tweaking those vid cards.

OK thnx I'll check that program out.

I've installed Microsoft Train sim, but it is a 'classic', distributed by Ubisoft.
I have a LOT of flightsim (microsoft) and flightsim addons but they never interfered with othergames or videocards...

Well anyway, I can play hunt&seek once more now.
