Well....I dodged all the hunter killers...bunkers....search lights.....and anti sub nets....only to arrive without nary a ship in port.....not a merchant...not a trawler.....nothing....I couldnt sink a damn thing......sheesh...... :damn:
Try sailing to " Dougs Cove " first to see if there's any goodies in Scapa first.
Dougs Cove is just north of Scapa and from there you can see into to Scapa, saves a lot of trouble !
If there is something in there, make sure you enter from the West.

Thanks, that is a great tip. I've made the trip twice only to find NOTHING there.

If your into sneaking into harbors, look into Rubini's harbor traffic mod.
Well I found somebody at home at Scapa Flow :D April 25 40
U-47 had been sailing on surface in a stormy sea's for about two days
thunder and lighting was on surface at south entrance of scapa I had
been taking soundings on depth and was about 11 meters :D
had not seen any ships for days Was in morning overcast I had
a feeling I should turn around and get out of there about that time
bridge watch said we were under attack "sir' Look up and here comes
a DD flank speed with guns blazing :D 11 meters water not much place
to hide try to get to P-dept and in postion to fire a torp but could get a the angle and he ram me setting on bottom. So that was the end of U-47
on Patrol 7 out Kiel I think there mit have been a Aux Cruiser parked
there best I could tell should have been there 19400401 to 19400601
saw that info on another post.
Lane :D
