I finally tried to get SH3 online and when I try to make an account it yells at me saying "Forbidden Password"
What the hell does this mean and who do I have to smack to play this game online?

Go to Ubisoft.com and register. Use the name / PW then in SHIII. Worked for me...I had the same message while trying to create a account within SHIII.

You wont get a confirmation email !

€dit: The ingame-chat-key is NUMLOCK. Gave me a hard time to fintd THAT out -.-

Once ya up and running, join up with WPL (wolfpackleaque) theres a link here on subsim under SUB CLUB. Here they keep records of your tonnage when playing online, UBISOFT doesn't. I think the highest scorer at the moment is "Dutch".

In an online game press the Num lock and type away

read the host's options..sometimes they have chat disabled

yeah you have to press it so you see a little ( _ ) come up on the screen, then you can type a message
