Two contradictory views from nside Iraq, from two high ranking Iraqi politicians. Now it seems to be acchieved - the US is trapped between all chairs, whatever position it supports, it will receive even more bashing.
Well true, but I thought you were leaving the forum eh?
As to the issue, yes I agree but then that was inevitable IMO.

(...) All these different reasons I listed sum up in a changed attitude of mine that makes me rethink my engagement here (amongst other factors as well), and I came to the conclusion that I do want to cut that part of my life dealing with this board much shorter in the future. Time for a change. I leave a small communication channel open and eventually pop up from time to time, but after five or even six years, I am not sure, I do consider my time of „hardcore membership“ at subsim.com beeing over. At least I will no more be as present as in past years, and keep a much lower profile.
;) That should help. Not leaving completely, but no longer ripple-firing postings and threads as I did in the past. One time every second day or so is okay with me.
I remind of the Iraq issue, because it worries me and many people increasingly that the lack of legality in Iraq seem to correspond or correlate with the increasing arbitrariness replacing most basic legal standards and democratic principles of countercontrol in jurisdiction

and obvious supression of evidence questioning the righteousness of current political standards, and critical opinions basing on these - like the links I posted reporting on the gagging of British newspapers referring to the AlJazeera-bombing plot-memo, and that now got deleted by the moderator, so I refer to the latest news articles on this issue:

Hello,
on a lighter note,
you wrote " ... - the US is trapped between all chairs, whatever position it supports, it will receive even more bashing. ..."
But wasn't it that way all the time ?
I only thought of "Life of Brian", and the discussion (was it the Judean public front ?) what the Romans had really done for them
Greetings,
Catfish
