I thought these pictures were intresting. They appear to be in scale to one another, (i cant say for sure). Albiet the VIIB looks more like a VIIC and the IXC looks more like an IXB.

No, I think the pictures are quite accurate in that regard. The tower is characteristically VIIB and not VIIC (more curved); and I think the IXC is visibly a bit wider than a IXB would have been.

Nice find

I want those skins in SHIII :yep:

Another thing to take into account is that noticable bulge on the side of the VII. Accurate :yep:

They are.

The early IXCs had the same general tower configuration as the IXBs.

I highly doubt Ducimus cares one way or the other at this point, seeing that he wrote that three years ago.

Here's the real deal. I think the front left is a IX but God knows what that big brute on the right is!

on the right is certainly IX, the rest are VIIs (this photo is in "Hitler's U-Boat War: The Hunters")

I agree. The deck of the big brute resumble the look in the sim. That is a IX all right.

If, like me, you've ever left your car in a huge parking lot while you went shopping, and then were unable to find it when you came back...

If this is the one you mean, they are a mixture of four different types of Japanese midget and suicide subs in dock, October 1945 (don't know where).
