F4 when submerged

Can anyone tell me what mod I need to use F4 while submerged to go into conning tower please? Thanks :)

I assume that you want to go to the Captains position by the attack periscope in the tower.

If so, afaik, you have to go to the F2 view then click on the tunnel in the centre of the boat. You need to pan 180 degrees from the Engineer to see it.

That will take you to a position with a chromnometer, attack periscope, tube selector and TDC.

You don't want to go any further up the ladder when you are submerged as that might tend to flood the boat.

I don't know of any mod to make the F4 key go to the tower instead of the bridge.

IUB 1.01 had the mod that took you directly to the conning tower while submirged when pressing F4.

There is a version of this mod that stands alone w/o RuB.
go to http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/. Look in the downloads, general section and look for 'conning_tower1.4B.7z'.

I think this is what you are looking for.

Do you even need a mod? I just hit Ctrl-F3. Or maybe it's Shift-Ctrl-F3 or something, to get me to the conning tower. One of those F3 combintations gets you the conning tower, the other puts you standing in front of the attack scope. That might have come with one of my mods though.
