I recently reinstalled the game and patched to 1.4 and have been playing my old campaign. (started from in port)
Once in a while if I stop the sub, it won't move again when ordered unless I submerge and surface again.
I've got plenty of crew in the engine room and have tried using the keyboard commands as well as setting the speed on the telegraph.
The telegraph shows the setting I've ordered and the CE echos the speed command, but no movement till I submerge and re-surface.
Anyone know how to fix it?

Also, I've noticed that with the IId the tilt axis seems to be off. When viewed from the control room, it tilts to the right when I dive and to the left when I surface rather than tilting forward and back.
It looks normal when I watch diving and surfacing from the exteranl view. Any fix for this one?

Finally, is it possible to lock the external camera to the sub yet?

I'm running a clean install of 1.4b with no mods.

Your first concern is a known bug. Sometimes while sitting on the surfaced with "all stop" ordered, the sub will not respond to subsequent commands to move forward. You can quickly order a back speed and then a forward speed to fix the problem.

Use the "." or "," keys to lock the view to the sub similar to how you do it with ships. Now, in 1.4b, the sub is the first "ship" in this view.

Not sure about the rest.

On another note I recently dl'd a couple custom single missions. The game fired up and ran ok but no matter what I did I couldnt get the green status bar high enough to start engines. The engine room was full of fresh crewmembers and the green bar maybe up to @ 1/4. Never ran into this before then two missions in 3 days-weird.
