I don't think it'll have the same appeal as german u-boats if it is Jap subs , but that's just my opinion :roll:

My understanding is that no work on SH4 has begun yet, and that SH4 has not yet got a green light..but that there is hope.

I'm developing my own low budget version of SH4. It's really just a collection of scenes of me playing with my Weeble-Wobble submarine set in the bathtub as a child. :up:

If they are building SH 4 on the SH 3 engine, maybe this explains why they dont release the SDK

You know..."Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down!" They were basically little plastic eggs with faces on em. They were huge when I was a kid. I tried forever to get the little buggers to fall down, trust me, they won't!

they had one set that was a little sub they could sit in - It was a lot like the Beatle's yellow sub, but was white instead.

No torpedoes though - this was a time when haveing sharp plastic bits flying off of childrens toys at incredible speeds was thought to be dangerous....

Oh I know what you're talking about then. They weren't huge when i was growing up (I'm a bit younger than you) but they were still around. Maybe they were my parents' from when they were kids, who knows. On a side note, related to dangerous toys:
