A strange thing happened to me this morning, i got up still half asleep, start early i thought its going to be a big day. Plant myself down in front of my computer head to subsim in search of Wazoos manual targetting tutorial. No where to be found i search high and low then remember about avons website so i head there. I have surround sound speakers setup around the living room so sound is heard everwhere, i also have my doorbell rigged to my speakers, this is a good thing but at times it can make you go a wee bit insane, this morning was going to be one of those mornings.

While in avons website i hear my doorbell ring? What so early who could it be at 6am i head to the door, only to find noone there. Must of been my imagination. Back on my computer few minutes later my door bell rings again. Again noones there. But now im getting agitated...ding dong... that friggin door bell again, someones outside playing games just waiting if i catch the little bastards...ding dong.. OH FUDGE! i race outside with baseball bat in hand run round the house, i catch my eighty yr old neighbour looking threw the curtains "Hi Mrs Stanaway dont worry bout me im ok really" (Big Smile) with baseball bat in hand. I do a full on recon of the house area and confirm it is safe (we have had burgaries in the area this is why i keep baseball bat close by :)

ding dong. I pinch myself to see if i am awake. I am awake, im not going mad i am hearing my doorbell ring...ding dong AARGGH.

I then adjust my speaker to sound clearer, then i hear sound correctly....

Ding Dong Avon calling!

It's OK everybody! Don't panic. We'll have him stowed safely in the back of the wagon in just a moment.

Kiwi_2005,

My partners just got back from a job in New Zealand and they said you guys were all nuts. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Don't worry though, you're not alone. I've run out of the house, baseball bat in hand, myself. :hulk: Insanity is not as bad as it is cracked up to be, one day it might save your life.

Also a kiwi online player which ive just started playing online with only to find out they always play in realistic mode (Dutch) emailed me his tutorial on manual targetting. An within 1 hr i was sinking ships manually. His way is very easy, theres no working with the scope your doing all your data in the map and tdc. The scopes just up to view where your ships are etc., Only thing i didn't like is no data is updated in the notepad, reason why im studing wazoos tutorial as well im going to see if i can combine both. If using wazzoos tutorial your be configuring data in the scope as well. Dutchs way doesn't require you to do this.

But having said that it works. And its only 2 pages compared to some tutorials ive seen that are 20 or more. Try out wazoos first if you want something easier i'll get dutch to get hold of you.
