Posting screenshots

Is it Ok to attach screenshots directly to posts, rather than having them hosted at imageshack? Is it a bandwith issue for Subsim.com? Is it an etiquette thing, or does it matter?

I ask this because I believe I've seen people post both ways and it would be easier to not deal with imageshack.

The images I've posted are hosted on my own site and linked directly.
As far as I know that is okay.

Do you mean to have your image uploaded to subsim.com?
I did not know that was possible. (And meybbe it ain't?)
