Thought I'd try RUb for once. The compressed 7-zip format is giving me a headache. I've been trying to extract the files for half-an-hour now, and all I end up with is another 35MB 7z file.

Not sure what to try next, as there are no clear instructions as to how to use this software. It's all a bit too geeky for me...

Can anyone help?

Try WinRar. It works pretty well, and it's easy....

I already have 7-zip, and I don't find it easy. That's the problem. I'm stuck. I opened the file manager, added the RUb archive to the list, then tried to extract it. All it did was copy the compressed RUb file into the target folder!

1. install jsgme - extract files to sh3 root folder
2. run jsgme - this creates folders in the root directory for your mods.
3. install 7-zip.
4. open 7-zip, select the *.7z file and extract to sh3 root folder( you must choose the correct path)
- these files will be unzipped to the mod folder.
5. use jsgme to enable/disable mods.

Try right-clicking and dragging it to where you want it extracted to.

OK, there must have been something wrong with 7-zip. I used WinRAR instead, as suggested, and it worked fine. Used the Beery installer.
