When does the Luftwaffe show up? Only when you report in a certain number of ships?

If Hier Goering would help out the kriegsmarine it would be nice but he just protect the lousy vermark. I see more allied fighters the the luffwaffa. And thats a bad sign.

One way he could've helped the Kriegsmarine would be to not abandon the aircraft carrier (http://www.geocities.com/grafzeppelintrager/index.html) idea. But oh no, the great WWI ace could not release any aircraft to the Navy, could he?

I wonder how much we can thank Göring for helping the Allies win through his vanity? :hmm:

I too wish for a bigger role for the the wimps with wings, I've shot down more hurricanes than they ever will!

Remember, In war he who makes the least mistakes, wins!

Don't get me started on those over-rated luftwaffe show-offs
But maybe I'm biased!

Dunno... I've called in contact reports many times and had the fly-boys show up and attempt to pound 'em. Even had them show up a couple of days ago while I was merrily taking on a convoy and I didn't even call them! A pleasant surprise I must admit as I was being chased by 4 or 5 rather perturbed destroyers at the time...

I've had them show up, without being called, several times as I was lining up shots on targets, and sink them for me.

Now that I cast my mind back, I've remembered that I have had some help from the flyboys. I picked up a contact when submerged, I surface and raced after it.
The watch Officer yells Aircraft spotted, and I go to periscope depth. My sonar guy tracks the contact, which starts to alter course in every direction know to man. So I stisk up my periscope and find the Fly boys attacking a C2.
Deciding to get in on the act, and steal some credit, I line her up, yell "Los!" and a short time later the C2 is paking herself on the sea floor.
I get the credit for the sinking. If the wingless wonder want to complain, they should remember they sunk a tanker I was attacking in Dover.
My crew aren't happy over the lack of support we have been getting, and Hans, my flack gunner, would like to use them as target practice!

Watch officer: Aircraft Approaching!

Captain: No, not aircraft, their targets!
