Does the WaW realism mod remove radio contacts too?

Does the WaW realism mod remove radio contacts too?
From the ReadMe:

Contact cfg: even on full realism the map is often updated with information even if it is nothing more than a sinlge allied ship. This files removes those updates. You will still recieve radio messages about large convoys but you will have to mark them on the map manually.
