Does this only happen with campaign saves or also with single player and tutorial mission?

Avon uses a special method to save missions:

So if it´s really just a broken campaign save you should use that method from now on.

Gizzmoe I believe you are trying to be helpfull, after uninstall & reinstall, patrol will not load, witts end! I looked at AVON'S Post. Can't SAVE if you can't get on patrol.Avon, might be the only one able to play this unstable, conflicting, and frustrating piece of eye candy.Took me a while to think of something nice.

Try it with an in-port save. If you haven´t the same exact mods installed after reinstalling SH3 patrol saves usually don´t work.

Or is it that even a new campaign doesn´t work? You really should give some more details, I hate guessing games...

Ok. Uninstall it again and this time not only delete the main SH3 dir but also mydocuments\sh3 (if you haven´t done that already the last time you´ve reinstalled it).

I did that. 10 times, dosen't fix! with or without patch 1.4b some authorities from UBI could be some assistance.

Have you already tried to disable all background programs, like antivirus, firewall, ICQ? Also scan for spyware (use Ad-Aware and Spybot) and viruses.

Also, do you reboot the PC regularly? I hope you´re not one of those guys who don´t reboot their PC for a week or so... ;)

I don't know what to tell you. Things that come to mind are:

- Bad RAM memory.
- Bad video or audio drivers. Often the latest isn't the greatest.
- Viruses, trojans, adware.
- Bad hard disk sectors.
- Too small a Windows virtual memory swap file.

You either create a bootdisk or download the ISO image to make a bootable CD.
