Wow, I just torped a trawler

On my patrol today, I rounded the North tip of england and went down between ireland looking for convoys, well I got no luck, and kept getting forced to submerge by trawlers, after the 3rd trawler went by I got annoyed, he was at 400M, directly infront of me.


I fired a torp at him and wow.

I hear the yes! see the water, and the ship just shoots underwater and a second later comes back to the surface upside down.

I wish I had gotten a screen shot, the thing went right under and then came up going atleast 10knots forward and upside down

A waste of a good torp. I personaly go for the lay me along side and man the flack guns!! :arrgh!:

My very first kill in SH was a nice hit on an armed trawler! Slightly off topic, my second kill was a C destroyer! HIGH waves, so I set the torp to as high as possible... A wave tossed the torp into the middle of the superstructure of the ship, leaving me in AWE of what a brilliant shot I was! :rotfl:

Aye, that incident with the trawler sounds like a very funny experience indeed! I guess you now know how important it is always to have eleven fingers ready for Ctrl+F11

It was a normal trawler, not an armed one, I was sick of them making me run around getting into attack positions : :damn:

I got a screen pic of a fishing boat hit by my torp in the mid-air inverted position... I'll post it tonight :) After the hit, it went totally underwater, then popped out, flipped over, and then never saw it again.

It was so funny, I'm lucky I got the pic. :|\
