sorry to make a new topic for this but i think it rocks, finally got me a plane, a Hurricane MkII, in AM94 in mid-May '41, after spending all my time diving i finally took a shot at one and got it i'm so l33t :|\

edit : Don't be in too much of hurry to man the flak gun yourself either .. Let your gunners do it because those planes are also reporting your position to the nearest destoyer and she's on her way at flank speed :-?

heh.... IRL, when something like that is coming straight at you, you use what ever you got to take it down before it takes you down. Throw rocks if you have to.

That's why I allways man the flak gun when surface attacking, and I allways man the deck gun when fighting off aircraft.

None of this "right tool for the right job" crap for me! :arrgh!:

I thought it was weird that my watch officer kept calling out aircraft spotted every two minutes, couldnt he see it was just the same pby returning for another pass?. There were only three, so I surfaced and started plinking away with my 20mm. Got some hits, and then I noticed there were something like ten bombers trailing smoke. Checked the nav map, and there are fully two dozen planes attacking my boat. Yeah, I crash dived.

I aced the aircraft portion of the academy too yet I find aircraft much more harder to hit during the campaign and in multi play
