There are a few gramaphone files that are MP3 but ideally, to avoid the tunes prematurely ending they need to by OGG files.

Does anyone know of a shareware program that can convert these files without them having to be put on a CD first?

I have looked a Freerip, etc. but they all seem to be designed to only copy from a CD. Although knowing me I have probably just missed that function.

Thanks :)

Try "dBpowerAMP Music Converter", it´s free:

You also need the ogg codec:

Works great, though I suspect the ogg codec is now part of the original download.

I can now listen to all of the Gramaphone 1 file without it cutting off part way through. :)

Getting worried though I am beginning to quite enjoy the German hits of 41, etc. :-?
