The actual position of U-100, the stalkers are visible in the background. This would be the second, and last depth charge attack launched against U-100 this patrol.
During the first depth charge attack, the brave crew fought off the attacker, sinking the enemy vessel with 2 torpedos. The vessel was spotted near Bristol, England. The captain's logs indicate no prior engagement, suggesting the boat snuck past the allied defenses undetected. The logs however, do indicate a lack of shipping in Bristol, a lone C2 Freighter was spotted, along with a small tanker.
No injuries were reported. In all, 28 depth charges were used against U-100. Repairs were completed while en route to Brest, minimizing the vessel's time in base for repairs. The crew consists of a few veteran leaders, while the bulk of the crew is made up of various other experiences. BdU has expressed satisfaction with the perforemance of the crew.
