install problem

I decided to uninstall SH3 and reinstall the program, then install the 1.4b update, and then Rub1.4. Now I'm getting a notice that mission.dll is not compatible or some such. I have used Rub and Commander in the past, could they be the problem? This is most frustrating, I just want to reload SHIII and start from scratch. Any ideas?

Uninstall SH3 again and manually delete the main SH3 folder. Then reinstall and patch it.

Yep. Also search The Community Manual (http://www.communitymanuals.com/shiii/) for "reinstall" for some more preventative tips.
