It´s a collection of some of the best mods. It includes parts of RUb and many other good things. oRGy told me yesterday that he probably releases the new version today. You can download the documentation from Terrapin´s site, it gives you a good overview of the things that are included.

Gizzmoe, does new version of IUb includes only RUb 1.44 files or something else? Do you know it?

RUb 1.44, some bugfixes and most likely, but it´s only a guess, some other minor things. He also wrote that he tries to "refix" the night spotting.

I'll try to release the mod around Monday. A couple of new fixes have come to my attention and a few new things have come up. I'm also waiting for fubars type 9 skin to be finished.

From what I understand this mod also includes many graphical improvements as well. Right now with RUB 1.44 installed my game runs flawlessly on my rig. In your opinion how much addtional stress does Improved U-Boat place on the users system?

The biggest framerate killer is Rubini´s harbour traffic mod. IUb Beta uses the "Heavy" version of HT (even more docked ships, plus aircraft). If the framerate is too low in the harbour area you can replace it with either the normal RUb campaign files or the RUb-compatible standard version of the HT mod.

IUb also comes with improved explosion/smoke/particle effects, but those shouldn´t effect your system too much if you have a medium-range video card.

I'm also improving the performance for the next version.
