Orders/Briefing Message Oddity with IUB [Archive]

Hi all,

I noticed last night playing/using IUB an oddity.

The mission orders had the usual start/stop location dates etc...no problem; but after stopping for a few hours and restarting noticed the name of my save on the last line that had Uboat success/loss.

ie: 101,263 tonnes sunk, 2 U Boatsforcoast(name of my save)

Is it just me or does anyone else have this error?

There appear to be several oddities in this Mod............the loss of a few function keys etc.
However,yesterday I was sent to Hell by a couple of dd's,but the report back at BDU told me I was dead (naturally) and also that the war had ended on 22 June 1944 !! :hmm:
The Graphics enhancements are good though. :)

This is a common ocurrance with RUb, and consequently IUb. IIRC, Beery thought it might have to do with their being a limited number of characters that could be displayed on the loading screen. In any case, it's more or less benign, and can pretty much be ignored.

OK like the man said worth a little annoyance for the graphics; have to admit they look sweet....

Hi;

Glitches should be fixed in a patch, soon. As said, the text corruption is an sh3 bug.

And if you were using standard IuB you wouldn't notice it - you're using SH3 Commander to generate those texts, I believe.

You know, I have that exact same thing happening to me at the moment, and I'm only running SH3 Commander, release 2.

I've downloaded IuB, but I haven't installed it yet. I was waiting umtil my current career expires (one way or another!).

Any chance you guys are also running SH3C r2?

Hi oRGy yes I agree bet that could be it - btw great work on the IUB love it! :rock:

And yes I am using SH3 commander mod also...
