Discovered this yesterday quite by accident.
Ever been wanting to use your Aft torpedo tubes in
a hurry but it just takes forever to swing the periscope
around 180 degrees.
Meanwhile.. That destroyer is gaining on you really fast.
Here's what you do...
Lower the periscope all the way and then raise it just a little bit.
The periscope will then swing around really quick.
I think there is a mod for this but can't remember which one.
