The German grid system did not use lat/long.
The game SH3 is modelled around ww2 u-boat war patrols.
You can determine lat/long from the map that comes with the grid-map (numbers along the margins are degrees - you will have to estimate minutes and seconds) The Aquator is 'O' deg.
...or you could fit a Garmin to your sub
Thank you benetofski.
I understood it. It is to say progress for the those days.
When there should have been Mod, I thought of some.
In addition, I am all right and do a request. :P

Not quite what you are looking for but you can get the Long/Lat in the mission editor, but as I started to type I had an idea if anyone wants to do it.
I was wondering if it were possible to get a list of Long/Lat as they are on the map and inlay them somehow on the grid map?

One of the problems with the MQK Converter is that its database does not cover the entire grid system.
It's very easy to use. Enter the grid number in the left side box. You must enter the full Kriegsmarine 6-character grid number, not just the 4 charachters we're familiar with.
For example, enter AN14 in the left box and click the GRID radio button in the DISPLAY field. Now you'll see the sub-grids within grid AN14.
Now go back to the left box and enter AN1411, for example and click the CHART radio button in the DISPLAY field.
The program will now show you the lat/long values, as well as the location on the map.
Thanks The Avon Lady. Always
It is very plain explanation.
I understood Kriegsmarine 6-character grid number and MQK_Converter.

There's also a WEB page that does this: Kriegsmarine Quadrant Converter (http://www.ubootwaffe.net/quadrant.cgi).

I don't know if anyone knew that the black and white hacture marks that surround the F5 chart are divided in one degree intervals. You can use the "ruler tool" on the F5 screen to draw vertical and horizontal lines from your position to the nearest horizontal (latitude) vertical (longitude) to obtain your geo position.
However, the F5 chart is a Mercatur chart and you may need to use Meridiontal parts to convert. You can learn how to do that via Bowditch (HO Pub #9) Table 6.
You can see how that is done here:

cheers,
Thank you for all of you. :sunny:
