I think i've sort of got the hang of it

After spending 1 hour and 30 minutes on the Torpedo training mission doing it over and over again, I think I have got the hang of the AOB a little better now.

I've still missed on the odd occassion and in career mode will no doubt still miss, but they've been near misses, and I mean near misses :up:

Though I still can't hit a target when its zig-zagging all over the place, I've come close when they've zigged into the path of my torpedos, then they shut off their engins, and the torpedo sails past in front of them :damn:

Lets see how I do in a new career. Farewell fellow UBoot men, i shall report back on how my hunting goes :arrgh!:

I seem to hit pretty goof in the training mission too, but when I`m on patrol, I 5-7 out of 10 torpedoes miss. :)

Just remember that shooting torpedos is just deflection shooting in slow motion.... you need to put the torps where the enemy WILL be.

Over time you will get the feel on how to make little adjustments.

Yeah, zig-zagging got to me also. I read somewhere here about just deducting a knot or two from the actual speed and set the torpedo to magnetic detonation. So far works like a champ.
